A Day in the Life of a Dog Staying With Us

We believe dogs are happiest when their day feels natural, calm, and structured, just like at home. Here’s what a typical day looks like for our visiting pups.
🐾
Morning:
Wake-Up & Potty Walk
The day starts with a morning potty break and a gentle walk around our quiet, dog-friendly cul-de-sac.
Dogs wake up gradually, stretch their legs, and start the day with fresh air and light activity.
After the walk, dogs return inside for breakfast according to their normal feeding schedule.

🐶
Mid-Morning:
Playtime & Social Time
Once everyone is awake and fed, it’s time for supervised play and social time.
Dogs can:
Play with other friendly dogs
Explore the home environment
Relax and interact with people
Every dog is supervised and interactions are carefully managed so all dogs feel comfortable and safe.
☀️
Midday:
Potty Break & Rest
Around midday we head outside again for another potty break and walk.
Afterwards, dogs typically settle into a rest period. Just like children, dogs benefit from downtime during the day to relax and recharge.
Some dogs nap, some lounge nearby, and others enjoy quiet time with their favourite toy.

🐕
Afternoon:
Activity & Enrichment
In the afternoon, dogs enjoy another period of play, activity, and interaction.
Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, this may include:
Play with other dogs
Short walks
Indoor games and enrichment
We always adjust activities to match the dog’s age, temperament, and energy level.
🌙
Evening:
Dinner & Relaxation
Dinner is served according to the feeding schedule you provide.
After dinner, the environment becomes calm and relaxed. Dogs spend the evening resting, socialising, and enjoying a peaceful home atmosphere.
This quieter time helps them wind down after a full day of activity.

💤
Night:
Bedtime
At bedtime, dogs settle in for the night according to their usual routine.
If your dog normally:
Sleeps in a crate
Sleeps on a dog bed
Sleeps near people
We follow the routine they are used to so they feel safe and comfortable.
Always Supervised, Always Cared For
Throughout the day:
Dogs are never left alone
They receive regular potty breaks
Their routines are respected
Their comfort and safety come first
Our goal is simple:
to make every visiting dog feel relaxed, loved, and completely at home.
